Bearville is Build-A-Bear's safe online games and free virtual world. Play games online and watch videos on the latest fashion trends and free online crafts! 2020-3-20 Bearville™ Carnival! August 21, 2013 Hi guys, I don’t know if you’ve checked it out yet, but if you haven’t, you should visit the Carnival at Sandy Bear Island in Bearville. There are some pawsome things to do there, like special carnival games. You can even take a ride on the Ferris wheel.
EmilyAdorable711 here and I've decided to finally make this post, hoping some of you may see it. Now of course we all know that BABV is officially shut down. Sadly, there is no way of convincing Build-A-Bear staff to bring back to virtual world in any way shape or form. So that's when I decided to make this post. Now some of you may already know this, but ToonTown, another virtual world website with animals, has been shut down for a few years now. This is where the crazy part comes in so bare with me. Once ToonTown closed down and many children/teens/adults all over the world were very upset about it's closing, someone decided to create ToonTown ReWritten. ToonTown ReWritten is a virtual world created EXACTLY how ToonTown itself was created.
The graphics and all remain exactly the same as the original website itself. Why not someone create another Bearville? Now here is my idea. If someone could actually create this new Bearville and keep the graphics etc the same, we could build our community back up from there. Before I let this post come to an end I'd also like to say that Club Penguin, another virtual world website that I'm sure many of you are very familiar with, also has something very similar to this, called, CPPS.me. CPPS.me is a private server for the many fans of club penguin, where the graphics are exactly the same and the virtual world is created exactly like the original. The only difference is that penguins on the private server are able to chat how they would like, type in codes to get ANY item they've ever dreamed of having. Pretty amazing right? Now all we need is someone who could create another virtual world for us to play, keeping the Bearville graphics how they were on the original Bearville, but on this 'New Bearville' we could let each person type in codes to get their items.
This way, everyone could have any item they ever wanted, chat, and just have fun like we used to.If ANYONE out there who is reading this post thinks we could actually make this New Bearville experience happen for everyone, let me know. I'd LOVVVE to help out anyway I can and help with mods for the site etc etc!REPLY IF YOU WOULD JOIN TOO IF WE COULD MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
IT'S TIME TO GROW OUR BEARVILLE COMMUNITY AGAIN AND GETS THINGS UP AND GOING! I would love for this to happen. I played Toontown since forever and play Toontown Rewritten now. The thing is, for Toontown Rewritten, someone skilled in programming was able to get the source codes so they had access to all the graphics and some coding.
I have no idea how they did it. I heard they worked on collecting all the this during Toontowns last month, starting as soon as its closure was announced. There was some debate whether this was legal because it all technically belongs to Disney. To recreate BABV we'd need people skilled in game graphics and most importantly programming. I think it would be easier than recreating Toontown because its all in 2D graphics. But I'm not sure many people in the Bearville community know how to do this. I sure don't.The worlize Bearville is ok for chatting and looking around but it's extremely limited when you use a game hosting website where you can't implement features like creating a character or trading, etc.
You'd need programming to do all that. I appreciate the worlize recreate but I miss dressing up my character and stuff.I'm majoring in game design so if I figure anything out I'll hop on board. For now I don't know much.:P. I looked at that new Bearville and I signed up for an account as TygerStar.
However, after getting a free avatar, I can't figure out how to wear it! There are no instructions for how to use it or anything. And nobody was there. It seemed kind of empty, sad and lonely there. Nobody walking around, no furry friends, no way to get a condo, nothing. Kind of limited.
Is this as good as it gets? I wish we could have our Bearville back!
I would gladly come back and even pay for it, if necesssary.I will say one thing for it after looking around it a bit, it's nice to see it has both the North Pole and the Haunted House there! I just miss dressing my avatar and my furry friends and decorating my cub condo. Those were my favorite things to do in the real Bearville.
Build a Bearville
Build a Bearville is a safe and fun place for children to play and make friends. Here you can play a variety of games, decorate your home and wander around the gorgeous countryside and town created for you. Linked to the real Build a Bear shops if you have a bear you can make it appear straight into the game too. With its safe chat facilities for kids to get to make friends in there is a lot to do here. With lots of fun options for your home and character you can personalize this game to be perfect for you. Enjoy a fun little place with lots of different activities, and of course a huge range of bears to play with.
Please note that the developers of the game are no longer running it and it has been closed for old and new players.
Toontown Rewritten
Toontown Rewritten is the exciting reboot (not affiliated with Disney or the original Toontown game though) of the popular child-friendly MMO/virtual world game, Toontown Online! The game feels a lot like the original Toontown in a lot of ways - you'll still get to create and customize your very own 'Toon' and dive into the battle (literally with a nice cartoonish flair) against the nefarious Cogs who want to turn the whacky and colorful Toontown into a cluster of dreary and boring office buildings. The game provides players with a whole lot of stuff to do. Aside from meeting new friends and chilling with them, you can complete fun quests, explore the town itself, do some gardening, fishing or even racing, and you can also play some really entertaining yet challenging, puzzle-based mini-games.
Toontown Rewritten is a great spiritual successor for the now defunct Toontown Online and will definitely delight both fans and newcomers alike. However, the game is a fan-made game and hence, there will be multiple technical errors and difficulties which you should definitely let the developers know. By helping them out, you'll be able to also enjoy a game that's as bug-free as possible.
